The Institute of Statistics and Mathematics Applied to the Building Construction of the EPSEB started its activities during 2004-2005 and was founded as a university center for research, knowledge transfer, training and services. In the 2007-2008 academic year is recognized as a functional unit of EPSEB and its consolidating its lines of action in 2009. As a functional unit that is interdepartmental and interdisciplinary, the Institute brings together teachers from various departments of the school with the desire to solve problems in building construction requiring the the statistical and / or mathematical tools.
