Abstract:
The problem of scheduling operations in an industry generally involves the assignment of an operation to a resource, its sequencing and timing. There is a classification of typical programming problems (a machine, a steady, parallel machines, flow generally ...), some of which are discussed in more detail. It also provides some resolution procedures focused primarily on the cases of steady and parallel machines. Finally, it addresses the issue of scheduling projects with limited resources (Resource-Constrained Project Scheduling Problem)
